This is hands down one of the most affordable big game trolling combos on the market. We have paired the Shimano TLD 20 II-Speed reel with our CHAOS STA 30-50 stand-up rod to develop a combo that can meet a wide variety of angler needs. This combo is designed for trolling for wahoo, tuna, dorado or other large game fish.


ROD:

The Chaos Gold STA 30-50 6' Rod is one of our lightest action stand-up rods which features a fast taper e-glass rod blank, providing both a sensitive tip and plenty of backbone. The rod is wrapped with AFTCO HD Roller Guides and a Roller Top to minimize line friction and wear. Perfect for trolling or drifting 30-50 lb. line with a 30 or 50 class reel. This model is built with a two-piece aluminum butt.

The Shimano TLD 20A II-Speed Reel is a powerful, light and durable big game reel. Each Shimano TLD 30A II-speed reel features Shimano's patented 2-speed shifting mechanism and A-RB anti-rust bearings, along with a unique handle to provide comfort and fish-fighting advantages. The A-RB bearings provide the corrosion resistance needed for saltwater use, plus anglers will appreciate the cranking ease of the ergonomic Power Grip handle. Construction features include stamped graphite frames, graphite side plates, an aluminum spool, a loud clicker and rod clamp.

CHAOS Rods are built one at time in our Florida shop. For that reason, we can customize your rods to meet your needs. We can alter the length of rods or grips to your preference, and change guides and components as requested. We can also personalize the appearance of your rod to match an existing set, add your initials or boat name, or completely customize the rod color, wrap, and even add an image of the target species on the rod.
