The Maxel OMS Ocean Max Specialty Lever Drag Reel is built for catching sailfish and white marlin! It is constructed of aluminum with heat treated stainless steel gears and six shielded stainless steel ball bearings for smoothness and corrosion resistance. The carbon fiber drag system in the OMS is specifically designed for fishing with monofilament for sails and marlin. It has a wide range but the drag makes an even progression as you move the lever forward. The click detent drag system eliminates drift and you can easily match the drag range to the line test you are fishing. This has a 5.8:1 gear ratio so that you can retrieve line quickly.
