Like all our live bait rods we start with an extra fast-taper blank and add tough Fuji SIC guides, underwraping and then double overwrapping the guides for strength. The soft tip for sensitivity quickly stiffens to a powerful backbone for pulling in big fish. Ideally suited for 15-25 lb. line, our customers regularly live bait pilchards, goggle eyes, and blue runners for sailfish, dolphin, wahoo, tuna, and kingfish with this rod.
