Our heaviest duty stand-up series, Tunabusters includes upgraded rod blanks and larger components to accommodate wind-on leaders. They were designed for Bluefin and Yellowfin Tuna, but customers use these for hi-speed Wahoo trolling, targeting Marlin and Swordfish, and chunking for Makos. Used with 50, 70, and 80 class reels, these rods pack the power of tournament chair rods, in a smaller, lighter package ideal for stand-up applications. AFTCO and Stuart wind-on guides assure clearance for larger lines and leaders. Prefer it shorter for tuna applications or longer for Swordfish and Wahoo applications-no problem; we can build it to your needs and wrap in custom colors with your monogram or transom graphics for minimal additional charge.
