Avet HX Reels are USA Made workhorse 30-60 lb. casting/trolling reels. Ideally suited for chunking big tuna and pelagics with 30-40 lb. mono, the reels high gear pulls 47 inches of line per crank and delivers 22 lb. of strike drag and 28 lb. at full while providing near-flawless free-spool. Add the corrosion resistant T 6061 T-6 marine aluminum components, the extremely durable AveBrake drag system and you have one of the very best reels ever made. Optional Magic Cast (MC) system eliminates backlashes with a 5 position cast control knob for varying casting weight applications. Available in single speed, two-speed, Raptor, and left-hand models.
