CHAOS stand-up rods are built on fast action blanks with both a soft tip and plenty of backbone, available in actions appropriate from mackerel to big game marlin. Built tough, with Fuji, AFTCO, or Stuart components, guides are individually under-wrapped so they never touch the blank, and then double over-wrapped for strength. If you don't see exactly what you want, CHAOS will customize it from scratch! With custom grips, length, colors, wraps, and monograms.
Chasing mackerel, kingfish, blackfin, sailfish, and schoolie dolphin on light tackle is a Florida favorite. Spooled with 15-30 test line, and paired with 12 to 30 class Internationals, Tiagras, Tyrnos, TLDs, Senators, and Avet SX and MX reels, customers use our lightest stand-up series to troll, drift, and bottom fish shallow reefs.
Our most popular stand-up series and an all-around choice for kingfish, dolphin, blackfin tuna, cobia, and white marlin on 30 and 50 class Internationals, Tiagras, Tyrnos, TLDs, and Avet HX and EX reels. Also a favorite of customers who prefer a lighter tackle battle with wahoo, mako shark, and larger tuna.
Our heaviest duty stand-up series, Tunabusters includes upgraded rod blanks and larger AFTCO and Stuart components to accommodate wind-on leaders. Originally designed for Bluefin and Yellowfin Tuna fights, customers now use them for hi-speed Wahoo trolling, Marlin, Swordfish, and chunking for Makos. Paired with 50, 70, and 80 class reels, they pack chair rod power in a size ideal for a stand-up battles.
Our Battlewagon Series addresses storage and flexibility requirements of sportfishing yachts. Built on AFTCO's Storabutt system, the three-piece butt section means butt, reel, and rod separate for storage, and changing from straight to bent butts during the day, or during the fight, doesn't require re-rigging.
